The Vine UMC

is located in the heart of Plaza Midwood, Charlotte, NC.  We truly are a neighborhood church.  Neighbors walk to worship, stroll their children to the daycare, and come on our front lawn for pumpkins in October.  We are the space for all to connect.

We are committed to deeper discipleship, being a "multi"-church, and impacting future generations.

GROW DEEPER IN DISCIPLESHIP

We are not called to only grow in numbers.  Being a disiciple is a journey of growing deeper in our faith.  This year we hope to offer small groups to hold one another in love, accountability and growth.

BEING A "MULTI" CHURCH

God gives a vision in Revelation 7:9 of the church being a great gathering of diverse peoples.  We hope to become a MULTI cultural, racial, ethnic, gender identity, ability...church.  We are not there yet.  But we are working on it.  The Vine Leadership Team is actively engaged in a multi ethnic study and will be bringing to the entire congregation soon.

CAMPUS RENEWAL

Our campus is located in the heart of Plaza Midwood and we LOVE that we are nestled in the midst of such life.

To be good stewards and continue being a church that is focused on mission and ministry, we are currently working with Wesley Community Development Corp. to help us move through a building re-development.  Stay tuned.  It is going to be awesome!
